Just when you thought you'd heard it all in soapland, along comes another bombshell to shock everyone and this HUGE lie told on Eastenders is one of the worst to date.
As fans of the soap will know, Lauren Branning had planned to leave Steven Beale and go to New Zealand but he put a stop to that when he turned up at the airport.
However, this being Albert Square, nothing is ever simple and instead of sticking to her original plan, Lauren and her boss Josh came to the conclusion that their feelings for each other were too strong and they had to break up with their respective others.
A pretty major life change but if you're familiar with the show, you'll know the nature of the storylines.
Lauren returned home to break the news but rather than accept it, Steven told her that he had a brain tumour and was dying.

Unsurprisingly, viewers were taken aback at this new level of deceit and aired their feelings on Twitter.
