Video: Metallica perform US national anthem with a twist at NBA finals

It's a question that's been on the tip of our tongue, but Metallica proved that heavy metal music can have a solemn and patriotic flavour.
The legendary band performed the US National Anthem ahead of game five of the NBA finals, with basketball's elite looking on thoughtfully to the sound of shredding guitars. It's not the sort of thing you see every day, but somehow it works.
