Frenzied and frenetic, new Foals tune What Went Down is the most visceral song from the band so far - and we love it.

The Oxfordshire five-piece are back with their fourth album, also called What Went Down. Their latest effort is produced by James Ford, who boasts Arctic Monkeys, Florence and the Machine, Jessie Ware and Mumford & Sons on his CV. FOALS Photo credit - Nabil Elderkin Foals recorded their new album in a rural 19th-century mill in the South of France - the result is described as a "primal, intense, sometimes harrowing album of extremes". Frontman Yannis Philippakis said: "I wanted to tap into my inner madman and feel like I was channeling some sort of fevered creature," which is apparent in the official video, directed by Niall O'Brien. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuQQIawCqBA What Went Down is released on Warner Music on August 28.
