U2 and Take That named as the first guests of TFI Friday

U2 and Take That have been announced as the first guests for the TFI Friday.

It might not be the Britpop line-up original TFI fans would expect but it's far from a shabby way to start. Of course, returning host Chris Evans is chuffed with the booking; "It wouldn't be the first episode of TFI without one of the biggest bands in the world, if not the biggest. "We're over the moon that we've got U2 on the show.
