Jake Gyllenhaal has turned himself into a tank for new boxing movie Southpaw, which also stars Forest Whitaker, Rachel McAdams and 50 Cent.
Gyllenhaal plays Billy 'The Great' Hope, a boxer who makes it to the top of the sport only to see everything suddenly come crashing down around him when his wife is murdered.
As he struggles to come to terms with his loss, Hope is pushed to the brink, resulting in social services taking custody of his daughter.
In his darkest hour he turns to boxing trainer Whitaker to try and win back his daughter and his life.
