Benicio Del Toro rarely has trouble pulling out an eye-catching performance, and he looks to be on top form in Sicario.
The trailer for the thriller, which also stars Emily Blunt and Josh Brolin, suggests we are in for a wonderfully tense spectacle when it hits cinemas in September.
Directed by Denis Villeneuve, best known for claustrophobic Hugh Jackman vehicle Prisoners, Sicario takes its title from the Spanish for hitman.
Set on both sides of the US-Mexican border, it sees Del Toro play Alejandro, a mercenary who joins American officer Kate Macy (Blunt) in the pursuit of a notorious drug lord.
