In what has to be one of the worst kept secrets / most obviously true rumours in some time, Ed Sheeran has just confirmed that he will be headlining Glastonbury later this year.

Sheeran took to his Instagram account to film a little video to make the announcement while on stage in Zurich as part of his current tour. https://www.instagram.com/p/BRtNM3_AjLZ/ Sheeran will be joining Radiohead (on the Friday) and the Foo Fighters (on the Saturday) as the lead acts over the weekend, with the recent Game Of Thrones cast-addition set to close out the weekend on the Sunday. Meanwhile, in slightly related news, somebody has taken Ed's track 'Galway Girl' from his most recent album and replaced the original lyrics with a "more realistic version".
