After seven years on the shelf, Prison Break will be making a return to our television screens early in 2017.
The first trailer for the new revival series had our interest piqued - with so many loose ends tied up back in season five, how could the gang still find themselves in scrapes with the law?
Well apparently it has a lot to do with the miraculous survival of Michael Scofield...

That's right, somehow Michael has managed to undo his death from the season four finale and landed himself in a prison in Yemen.
"Breaking out of prison is just the beginning. You have to break out of the country itself."
He can never do it the easy way can he?
Michael's reveal will be more than just a flashback - he's really alive. Somehow. Earlier this year, Fox CEO Dana Walden said that the series will provide "a logical and believable explanation to why the characters are alive and still moving around the world".
We can't wait to see what happens; especially as Sara, T-bag and Amaury Nolasco will also be making their return for the new series.
That Lincoln Burrows himself, Dominic Purcell added: "I think this is going to be better than the original Prison Break."
Big call.
2017 can't come soon enough.
