Apparently, the celebrities have to wear red socks around the camp and during their bushtucker trials so the blood from the insect bites won't show up on camera.
Lovely.
Speaking to UK magazine Woman's Own, the show's medic, Bob, revealed the reason behind the red sock choice.
That would probably explain why the celebs wear red shorts and trousers too.
Good for them.
The cast for this year's show includes Rebekah Vardy, Stanley Johnson, Dennis Wise, and Vanessa White.
