Shot in 360-degree virtual reality, the world's first full-length virtual reality film has landed.
As the line between cinema, video games and VR becomes increasingly blurred, first-time filmmaker Alex Oshmyansky has released Career Opportunities in Organised Crime, a violent virtual ode to Russia's mob.
Immersive and controversial, the film promises to be a slick, action-packed, black comedy take on the classic gangster flick which puts you – the audience – in the driving seat.
Using a total of six GoPros and a couple of different rigs to hold the cameras in place, the team responsible hope to trick your brain into thinking it's actually taking part in the action.
And before you say anything about the film being unnecessarily violent, all profit will go to a start-up pharmaceutical company helping those in need of medical treatment.
