Stacey Solomon is being destroyed on social media for her views on organ donation

Janet Street-Porter was not happy.

Loose Women panellist Stacey Solomon today admitted that she was "selfish" for not registering as an organ donor, citing a dislike of thinking about death as the main reason behind her decision. When pressed by presenter Andrea McLean, the former X Factor contestant did admit that she would take a donated organ if she needed to. Solomon said: "The whole thing is selfish. Obviously I would want to stay alive. I know it sounds so awful.' "I don't even know why I’m not a donor. I just don't like to think about death and whenever I think about anything like that it automatically steers me down that road." Whilst other members of the panel were relatively sympathetic, Janet Street-Porter was shocked that the singer wasn't planning for the future, calling her decision "ridiculous". Judging by the reactions on social media, it seems many others agreed.
