Firstly because it’s a remix, and therefore most people don’t know it, and secondly it’s such an aggressive record. But it always seems to go down a storm! "It’s all about DJ Premiers beats on this, my head hurts from nodding along! Personally, I don’t think there’s been a better marriage between MC and DJ than Preemo and Biggie - just my opinion that though, so turn this up LOUD and annoy your neighbours!" Soultwin Jeff: "Looking at his phenomenal back catalogue over the last quarter of a century, it’s hard to argue that there has been a greater producer in hip-hop than Preemo. "This track is one of hundreds I could’ve picked, but I have been playing it loads recently so thought it was pretty apt. I love the original and Biggie’s vocal is just slick beyond belief, but this remix just absolutely throbs. Proper neck snapping boom bap hip-hop at its best. "Preemo’s real name is Chris Martin, and it’s great to know that there’s someone making music under that name who isn’t an absolute b*llbag. "Long live Preemo’s productions!!!"
