A fearless broadcaster, sharp wit and arguably one of the greatest tweeters to have ever tweeted, Richard Madeley, he of presenting powerhouse and book club giants Richard and Judy, is a firm TV favourite.
He can currently be seen hosting Good Morning Britain, and has already made quite the impact, taking a question dodging guest to task and telling the father of an anorexic child that he would have easily spotted an eating disorder and done something about it.
And you thought Piers Morgan and Jeremy Kyle were... bad's not the word. Special?
Today, however, Madeley struck TV gold, doing what he (unintentionally, one assumes) does best: impersonating Alan Partridge. In a segment on the dangers of quicksand, Richard hits a vein of pure Partridge, nailing the words, the intonation and even the posture of Partridge.
As Alan would say, "Back of the net!"
