Richard Madeley claims Liam and Noel Gallagher burgled his house

No, really. According to him, the former Oasis members broke into his house - or at least he thinks they did - when he and wife Judy Finnigan lived in Manchester. Quite the claim, eh? "'He and his brother used to live quite close to us when we used to live in Manchester," Madeley said of Liam. "They admitted in the early stages of their career they did a bit of robbery and we think they did our house.

"I spoke to them about it, and we spoke about it. It was many years ago and they've probably forgotten about it now and they said "yeah I think we did that one yeah, I think we did that one, went in through the window yeah"."

Perhaps the key line Madeley's recount is "it was many years ago and they've probably forgotten about it now"...
