Carla Connor is back on the Corrie cobbles.

Or at least she will be very soon. And judging by the sneak peek released from producers, things are set to kick *right* off when she does make her return on Christmas Day. Wearing a Santa hat and armed with gifts, Carla is determined to spread some festive cheer but the Weatherfield residents aren't too impressed. Peter Barlow's ex-wife was the source of much drama during her previous stint on the soap and that's why her imminent return is guaranteed to cause shockwaves. Although we don't know much more, it's likely that Carla and Peter will cross paths - a meeting many Corrie fans will be intrigued to witness.
