It’s coming soon

We’ve known for a while that Big Brother is making its way back to our screens but who the new hosts will be has remained a mystery.

But it seems we won’t have to wait much longer for the host announcement.

AJ Odudu and Will Best have reportedly been “revealed” as the new hosts of the upcoming reboot.

According to The Sun, the Strictly Come Dancing star and the former T4 presenter will be the faces of the new series as it returns to our screens this Autumn.

A source told the publication: “AJ has known since last year the Big Brother job was hers but she’s been waiting for her co-host to be confirmed.

“It was a no brainer. They are great friends too so to be able to work together is really exciting.

“They could not be more excited about joining forces to bring back Big Brother. AJ and Will are going to be formally announced by ITV really soon and they can’t wait to get stuck in.”

Fans hoped that Davina McCall would return as host of Big Brother, but confirmed recently that she would not be involved.

The reality show was announced to be making a comeback in March of this year as it will move from Channel 4 to ITV2, but was later revealed to have been delayed as there are a number of different reality shows airing on ITV2 at the beginning of 2023.

An ITV spokesperson told MailOnline: “Owing to the influx of big reality TV programming on air during the first half of 2022 we have taken the decision to move the transmission of Big Brother to a more prominent slot in the Autumn.

“This gives our viewers a whole calendar of big reality TV formats across the year.”

When the series finally does return, we’ll get to see a whole bunch of new housemates making themselves comfortable in the TV home for six weeks as cameras watch everything.

And one thing we can definitely expect is drama, as any other Big Brother series has shown us but this time around, they’re going for a new look and reimagining the show.
