Iain Armitage, who has appeared in Big Shots and Big Little Lies will play the role of Sheldon, while Jim Parsons will act as narrator.
Associated Press confirmed that CBS will air the show sometime this year and that the co-creator of The Big Bang Theory, Chuck Lorre, is behind the spin-off, while Jon Favreau will direct the first episode.
