This sounds brilliant!

One of the stars of The Big Bang Theory is getting their own spin-off show. Fans of the original show will probably be able to guess who, too. Yes, that's right, Sheldon Cooper is getting his own prequel. Young Sheldon will follow Sheldon in his early years as he grows up in Texas. Iain Armitage, who has appeared in Big Shots and Big Little Lies will play the role of Sheldon, while Jim Parsons will act as narrator. Associated Press confirmed that CBS will air the show sometime this year and that the co-creator of The Big Bang Theory, Chuck Lorre, is behind the spin-off, while Jon Favreau will direct the first episode. We're looking forward to seeing it.
