Who'd have thought it but Noel Gallagher loved Kanye West's Glastonbury performance - well, for a bit...

The High Flying Birds frontman thought the rapper's set was as "as good as it gets" - but like us, he then zoned out. West performed solo, under a sea of white lights before ending his set in a cherry picker above the crowd. Speaking to NME, Gallagher said: "I thought for half an hour it was f*****g outrageous. It looked amazing on my iPad, I have to say," "For 30 minutes I thought, 'Wow, this is truly f*****g amazing'. Then, like most hip-hop gigs, after 45 minutes you're going, 'I want something else now'. But for half an hour it was as good as it gets." Gallagher didn't go to or play at Glastonbury, but has left the door open for next year, adding: "I'm always free for Glastonbury weekend, if anybody is watching."
