New Chelsea signing already has a song about him (Video)

Chelsea new-boy Papy Djilobodji already has one over on his team-mates.

The centre-back might have been left out of the Champions League squad, but he can at least lay claim to being the Premier League club’s only player with a song named after him.

Well, there is that one about John Terry, but we don’t think that counts.

Senegalese rapper Admow recorded ‘A La Djilobodji’ about his compatriot, and you can see him perform it here with a number of Djilobodji’s international team-mates – though we’re not sure the Stamford Bridge faithful are fluent enough in French to repeat it in the stands.

Djilobodji is of course not the first Premier League player to have his name feature in a song.

You’ve got Bournemouth striker Yann Kermorgant…

Arsenal’s Theo Walcott…

And who could forget Per Mertesacker?
