Meghan Markle’s Suits co-star demands Royal Family ‘back off and apologise’

D.B. Woodside, who played Jeff Malone, in the series, has come to Markle’s defence

Meghan Markle’s former Suits co-star, D.B Woodside, has warned the Royal Family to “back off and apologise” to the Duchess of Sussex. This follows the weeks of fallout still lingering since Prince Harry and Meghan’s Oprah Interview.

Woodside played the role of Jeff Malone in the American TV series, Suits, which revolves around New York lawyers fighting various legal cases. It was on the show when he first met Markle, who played Rachel Zane for seven years.

He described his former colleague as “strong and resilient”. He went on to call her an “amazing human being” and that “if [people] think that this kind of stuff is going to knock her off her game for very long, they picked the wrong woman to mess with”.

You can see D.B. Woodside’s full interview with Entertainment Tonight below:

As you can see, Woodside has countless nice things to say about Markle and aside from giving her a glowing review, he urged the Royal Family, tabloids and the public, in general, to back off, stating simply: “she is not the one”.

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past month, Meghan Markle claimed that the Royal Family – the institution, specifically – had raised concerns over the colour of Archie’s skin (the Sussexs’ first child) and that she did not receive adequate support when struggling with her mental health.
