We thought this was Love Island  not a missing person’s documentary.

ITV2 viewers have been left scratching their heads after noticing Love Island’s Casa Amor bombshell was nowhere to be found on screen.

Just days after her arrival with five other girls, newcomer Jazmine Nichol seems to have “gone missing” from the villa according to viewers of the dating show.

Jazmine’s lack of airtime has been compared to other bombshells, as many wondered if she had left the show secretly or been kicked out already.

While Jazmine was shown on Monday night during a challenge fans have barely seen her.

Fans jumped to Twitter with their theories, questions and suggestions on where she could actually be.

One viewer added: “Where is Jasmine? We didn’t see her in today episode at all,” as a second commented: “Who is Jasmine – have we seen her yet?”

Another said: “Has jasmine said a single word since she walked through the door?”

A fourth added: “No why is Jasmine getting absolutely no air time, I definitely thought she would be the one all the guys would be after.”

It comes amid fans predicting only one couple will survive the brutal Casa Amor segment of the reality TV show.

The ‘Casa Amor’ part of the series is notoriously dramatic, and proves as a real test for couples torn apart and teased with new islanders.

The drama comes after one of the most eagerly anticipated moments in Love Island history happened on last week – yes, Gemma Owen finally told the villa that her dad is Michael Owen.

The 19-year-old was arguably the biggest name on this year’s series when it was announced she would be entering the villa, thanks to her famous footballing father.

But so far she has resisted the urge to name-drop her dad in the villa.

Until now.

The moment came about thanks to one of the villa’s newest residents, Antigoni Buxton. Whilst they were getting ready in the dressing room, she asked Gemma: “Sorry, excuse me if I’m being ignorant, but is your dad like very very well-known? He played for England, right?”

Gemma replied “yeah” before revealing that she went to nursery with David Beckham’s sons, prompting a surprised reaction from Ekin-Su.

The exchange delighted viewers, who took to Twitter to voice their relief that after 20 episodes Gemma had finally made the revelation.

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
