‘I’m minding my fat Black beautiful business’

Fans are convinced that Lizzo hit back at Kanye West on stage after the rapper took aim at her weight in a controversial interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

The pop star appeared to reference with ‘Stronger’ hitmaker’s comments without mentioning him by name during her concert at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada on Friday.

During her show, Lizzo told the audience: “I feel like everybody in America got my motherf*****g name in their motherf*****g mouth for no motherf*****g reason.”

The singer went on to add: “I’m minding my fat Black beautiful business,” before going on to joke about moving to Canada.

She went on: “Can I stay here [in Canada]? Who can I marry for that dual citizenship?”

Lizzo seemed to really take home her point by sharing a clip from her stage show on her Instagram page which showed her with a spotlight on her face as the message “My body, my choice” was illuminated across her torso.

It comes after Ye ripped into the body positivity movement and called it ‘unhealthy’ and ‘demonic’.

Basically, days after his White Lives Matter controversy and the endless social media spats he’s had since, Kanye went on Fox News to start some more fires.

The 45-year-old spoke about his “good friend” Lizzo, saying she often gets attacked on social media by “bots” whenever she announces she’s lost weight.

Ye said these bots criticise the ‘Good As Hell’ singer because the “media wants to put out a perception that being overweight is the new goal.”

It didn’t go down well, Ye was met with a lot of controversy.
