Bella Hadid put on an absolutely show-stopping performance at Paris Fashion Week on Friday, having a dress spray painted onto her body, then rocking it down the catwalk moments later. Slowly a chic figure hugging slip dress, with an off the shoulder neckline, was revealed before the thick layers were cut away to create a thigh-high split. Vogue said the specialist painters were led by Dr Manel Torres, managing director of Fabrican Ltd and inventor of the spray-on fabric. “We wanted to dedicate this moment to Dr Torres, because we respect what he does so much,” Coperni co-founder, Arnaud Vaillant, told Vogue. “We felt that it was absolutely necessary that he led the performance – to us, that makes the experience even more magical.” Once completed, Hadid strutted the runway, seemingly with no concern about her dress disintegrating.
