AC-12 took the night off from catching bent coppers
The cast of the hit BBC One action drama Line of Duty reunited on Saturday as Vicky McClure celebrated getting married.
McClure was joined by Martin Compston and Adrian Dunbar as she tied the knot with long-term partner, Jonathan Owen, on Friday (August 11).
Known as Kate Fleming in the series the actress, who has also starred in several other shows such as the Channel 4 film and series This is England, got married to Owen in her hometown of Nottingham.
After the occasion, the 40-year-old took to Instagram to post a series of photos from the day, saying: “Tied up in Notts!!! Best. Day. Ever!!!!!”
Compston – who played Fleming’s side-kick Steve Arnott in the series – also posted on social media, saying: Incredible day in Notts celebrating the best of people @vicky.mcclure and @jonathanowen71 nuptials. First dance with the dementia choir was just beautiful and says everything about the two of them sharing their moment with the dementia team. A few shandies were had afterwards.”
Jed Mercurio, the creator of Line of Duty was also present.
While the gang were all back together, there is still no word on whether or not there will be a seventh series. Reports in 2022 claimed that it would return for one final three-part series after many were left disappointed to the end of series six.
Let’s hope this meet up isn’t the last we see of AC-12 together.
