Liam Gallagher has claimed he wasn’t responsible for tweets sent from his Twitter account criticising his brother Noel’s performance at the reopening of the Manchester Arena.
The We Are Manchester benefit concert was played at the arena earlier this month and was the first event to be played there since it was targeted by a terrorist attack last May.
Noel was one of a number of performers at the gig and appeared to break down in tears during his performance of ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’.
Tweets sent from Liam’s account after this claimed this was a ‘PR stunt’ and that Noel ‘doesn’t give a fuck’.

However, nearly two weeks on from the tweets being sent, Liam has explained in an interview given to Newsweek that his account was hacked.
“Oh, that wasn’t me,” the former Oasis frontman said. “Someone hacked my Twitter account… Yeah, I wouldn’t do that. I wouldn’t say stuff like that. Can you believe that?”
