Leonardo DiCaprio looks set to star in Quentin Tarantino’s new film, set around the time of the Charles Manson murders.

According to Variety, DiCaprio will play an aging, out-of-work actor in the film. Margot Robbie, meanwhile, is being eyed for the role of Sharon Tate. The pair, Di Caprio and Robbie, previously worked together on the phenomenally popular, The Wolf of Wall Street. DiCaprio and Tarantino last collaborated on 2012’s Django Unchained.

In what looks set to be a Pulp Fiction-esque ensemble cast. Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Al Pacino are also being considered for roles in the yet-untitled movie.

Reports suggest the movie will follow an ageing actor (DiCaprio) in 1969 Los Angeles and his life will cross paths with the murders. Other details for the plot are being kept close to the chest of Tarantino, but we’re sure more information will emerge in due course.

The movie is set for release in the third quarter of 2019.
