Kylie, Chic and Grace Jones make Hyde Park the biggest disco of the summer

Kylie went down a storm at Hyde Park performing a career-spanning 90 minute set, including a huge sing-along to the Neighbours theme tune.

The pop star performed some of her biggest hits including Better the Devil You Know, Wow, Can’t Get You Out of My Head, Spinning Around and The Loco-Motion, causing conga lines to form.

But what had fans buzzing the most was an unprompted rendition of the Australian soap’s theme tune; during a break in song, the crowd burst into, “NEIGHBOURS, EVERYBODY NEEDS GOOD NEIGHBOURS!”, to which Kylie smiled and joined in.

Happy with her performance and overwhelmed by the reaction, Kylie tweeted after the show:

Supporting the pop princess beforehand at Barclaycard British Summer Time in Hyde Park was the marvellous Grace Jones and Chic featuring Nile Rodgers. True to form, both didn’t disappoint.

The band packed their set with their greatest hits before ending the performance with a star-studded stage invasion which included Cara Delevingne and Sam Smith.

After the concert, Sam Smith took to Instagram to show his appreciation of Rodgers’ talents…
