That is set to continue with a reboot of another cult hit from the decade in crime comedy Kindergarten Cop.
Sadly the new release, for Video on Demand only will be missing one key element: Arnold Schwarzenegger will not be returning as Detective John Kimble.
Not to worry though. David H Steinberg, writer of such memorable sequels as American Pie: The Book of Love and National Lampoon’s Barely Legal, has been snapped up as screenwriter.
If all else fails they can always try remaking the original as a straight crime thriller…
