Kim says Kanye’s Behaviour will be ‘more damaging’ to their kids than her sex tape

Kim finally lets loose

Kim Kardashian has opened up about her former husband’s “insane narrative” and “lies” and suggested his behaviour would be far more damaging to their children than anything she has ever done.

In a closing segment of Hulu’s The Kardashians, the SKIMs mogul hints at what is set to come in the series, and it is safe to say there are plenty of low points as far as Kanye, now known as Ye, is concerned to unpick.

His life, wealth, and cultural standing went down the drain last year when he started making anti-Semitic comments, then, didn’t really stop. He even went on TV in December and talked about how he “loves Hitler”. Adidas dropped him and so did most other businesses and high-profile people that were associated with him personally, or professionally.

Complex noted that it isn’t clear at what point of Ye’s unravelling, Season 3’s comments from Kim were taped.

However, Kim does touch on some big storylines from the real-world drama of Kim and (formerly) Kanye, tho, specifically, her ex’s comments about her infamous sex tape, rumours about Drake, and her mum, Kris Jenner.

“You know, there’s been a lot going on with Kanye right now and things are going on in the media radio shows and interviews,” Kim said in a confessional interview during the final six minutes of the episode.

Kim’s comments are then delivered through a combination of confessions and in filmed chat with Kris.

“Even through all of the craziness of everything that Kanye says about us, I never comment,” she tells the Momager.

“I never post. Like, he has made up the most insane narrative about you and the tape. We stay silent, we stay silent. Through all the lies, all the stuff.”

In a confessional, Kardashian added that she now assumes “everything” she sends Ye via text message will end up being made public.

“I think I can handle anything,” she said. “I just get really heartbroken for my mom, that she has to deal with so much, you know, from so many different sides of people coming at her.”

Kris notes that her daughter, “can’t control” another person and notes that Ye is “doing this to himself”.

Kim then dives into some of the dramas head-on, commenting: “But even just like how he looks so down on me for, like, my tape and brings it up all over town, all over the media.”

“Like, thanks for reminding people once again. All of his shenanigans—I don’t even know what the fuck to call it —is gonna be far more damaging to the kids one day than my tape will ever be. And I have to sit here and not say anything, ever, because I know one day my kids will appreciate that and I know that is the best thing for them.”

Despite it all, Kim says she knows she must remain Ye’s “biggest cheerleader” in the eyes of their four children.

But, “one day”, they will “see for themselves”, she says, adding that she will “answer whatever they want” about their dad.

Kim continues her assault: “He was the one that started a rumour that said I was hooking up with Drake, having an affair our whole marriage. He accused me of that publicly. So the person that’s supposed to protect me the most publicly would accuse me of having an affair throughout our whole marriage. I really can’t wrap my head around how he is a protector.”

In the closing seconds of the new episode, Kim became visibly upset, telling the camera she didn’t want to discuss this topic any further.
