Kim Kardashian has told how she "cries herself to sleep" thinking about raising her four children alone after spitting up with Kanye West.
The reality TV star shared four kids with the rapper now known as Ye; nine-year-old North, Saint, seven, Chicago, five, and, Psalm, four.
Kim filed for divorce in January 2021 and it was finalised in November of the following year (see a full timeline of their relationship here).
The Skims founder recently spoke about parenting with life coach Jay Shetty on his podcast series On Purpose. a sneak-peak of which has been released by People magazine. It is expected to air Monday.
In the clip, Kardashian, who is worth around $1.4 billion, can be heard saying "the days are long and the years are short" when it comes to raising kids.
"So, like, when you're in it, I mean, especially when they're babies and you're feeding…there's madness going on. It's like full madness," Kim said, before adding: "It's the best chaos though."
The star of Hulu's The Kardashians then revealed what a typical morning looks like in her home, saying often "you have no idea what's going on".
"It's like I always have to do one of my daughter's hair — and it has to be perfect and it has to be a certain way — and then this one needs me to put his shoes on and they all need you," she explained, before summing it up as: "It's like full crazy madness, cooking, running around. Like, it's wild."
And, like all parents, Kim said she is often overwhelmed: "There are nights I cry myself to sleep. Like, 'what just happened?'
"You know, with all the moods and the personalities and sometimes they're fighting and there's no one there."
Despite the everyday dramas, the 42-year-old told Shetty she is getting the hang of being a single parent, and often plays both "good cop and bad cop" which is "a challenge".
Kim said despite her kids turning her life "completely upside down" she wouldn't change anything: "It is the most challenging, rewarding job on this planet."
