Khal Drogo was an absolute beast in Game of Thrones.

The Dothraki king, played by Jason Momoa, was the most fearsome warlord in Essos (before he gets killed off early doors in classically grim fashion). So obviously anyone stepping into those hulking Dothraki shoes was going to have to be in pretty mean shape. Step forward Joe Naufahu, who will play Drogo's shredded successor Khal Moro in the brand new series of Game of Thrones which hits screens next week. The New Zealander is a former professional rugby player who had spells at Leicester Tigers and Glasgow Warriors. But the 38-year-old is in fantastic shape for the role, as this photoshoot for American magazine Muscle & Fitness shows.... https://www.instagram.com/p/BEPIwfHtCJO/?taken-by=joenaufahu https://www.instagram.com/p/BEO2oT6NCC3/?taken-by=joenaufahu https://www.instagram.com/p/BEM9r2zNCP3/?taken-by=joenaufahu

Muscle & Fitness shot some behind-the-scenes footage of him from the magazine shoot doing some kettlebell work...

Here he is giving us an insight into what we can expect from Khal Moro...
