Looks like a lot of people really like dinosaurs...

Jurassic World is the big summer blockbuster that just keeps getting bigger. The movie didn’t waste any time at all breaking Universal's all-time 'Thursday night preview' in the US, taking in a whopping $18.5 million. That's unbelievably impressive considering the movie only started showing at 7pm. According to Forbes, if you take away Thursday’s preview numbers, Jurassic World actually grossed $64.1 million on Friday. That’s the biggest opening Friday of all time, with Jurassic World even surpassing Furious 7 ($52 million) and the two Avengers films ($63 million and $57 million respectively). tumblr_nfo5joAwbv1tg96lho1_500 Jurassic World is now expected to rake in over $200 million from its first weekend in the States, which is sure to get movie executives excited as it cost $150 million to produce. The movie is also doing very well overseas with Business Insider reporting that Jurassic World grossed “another $60 million across 66 territories, which is a record number.” Via Business Insider
