Jurassic Park gets 8-bit treatment as sequel Jurassic World hits cinemas

In the gaming world you don't get much more prehistoric than 8-bit, so Jurassic Park always seemed like the perfect fit for this retro reimagining...

Released to coincide with the cinema unveiling of sequel Jurassic World, Cinefix has gone back in time in more ways than one to produce an 8-bit (and partly 32-bit) version of the Steven Spielberg classic. Famous scenes from the 90s film keep all their suspense and humour when rendered this way, as was the case with Cinefix's 8-bit adaptation of The Shawshank Redemption. Watch lead character Dr Alan Grant flee the t-rex threat and fight off hungry raptors.
