The Big Lebowski star attended the Freak Brothers premiere in LA clad in jeans, an orange jumper and a blazer.

The 69-year-old Hollywood veteran told Page Six: "In the old days, I would take three months out, lose 60 or 70 pounds, and then reward myself with a six-pack or whatever and just go back to my old habits.

"This time, I wanted to do it slowly - move, exercise.

"I'm getting to the age where I can't afford to sit still anymore."

The actor's change in lifestyle also meant adopting a Mediterranean-themed diet including fish, olive oil, vegetables, nuts and fruit. Alongside this - and teachings from his personal trainer Mackie Shilstone - Goodman made it his mission to walk at least 10-12,000 steps every day.
