While Christmas is just what, four weeks away? Everything is beginning to feel so much more Christmassy.
Across the globe Christmas markets have opened up, Festive Bakes line our stomachs, 24 hour Christmas songs blur out on the radios, but now we've got the biggest news of all.
It's been more than 20 years since the first and only Grinch movie, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, and now it looks like we could be getting a reboot.
Earlier this year, Giant Freaking Robot reported that a Grinch sequel is imminent and that Carrey would be returning for the role.
They wrote: "Jim Carrey is returning to Universal Pictures for The Grinch 2, once again playing Dr. Seuss’s most famous and ill-tempered creation."
That being said, Carrey has maintained his silence on the rumoured project, and it would make quite the surprise after he said back in 2017 that he's not a big fan of sequels.
More specifically, he said: "I find sequels are a function of commerce for the most part. At least the two I've done, they were characters I enjoyed doing, but I did find myself almost parroting myself at that point.
"When you put 10 years between you and the last time you did it, suddenly you're going, 'How did I do that again?'... So, you're imitating your original inspiration. It was super fun with Jeff, but I'm not a crazy sequel guy."
