Jamie Vardy’s lookalike bizarrely sticks up for Christopher Biggins after Big Brother controversy

We don't understand this...

Christopher Biggins was thrown out of the Celebrity Big Brother house for reportedly making offensive comments on the show.

The 67-year-old actor was ejected from the house on Friday after Channel 5 bosses said he made remarks ‘capable of causing great offence to housemates’.

The channel did not make clear the nature of the remarks although reports in the Mail suggested ‘the joke is too insensitive to repeat’.

Channel 5 did not deny that a bad-taste joke was made by Biggins, but issued the following statement on their website:

“Big Brother has taken the decision to remove Christopher Biggins from the Celebrity Big Brother House.

“Since entering Big Brother, he has made a number of comments capable of causing great offence to housemates and the viewing public.

“Big Brother does not tolerate offensive language capable of causing widespread offence. Christopher Biggins has left the House.”

Earlier a supposed transcript appeared online of the conversation, but this was proved to be 100% fake by Channel 5 TV bosses. Footage of what happened is due to air on Saturday night.

But the story has taken a bizarre twist as Jamie Vardy’s lookalike appears to have got involved.

Lee Chappy, the man who famously looks like the Leicester and England man, seems to have backed the under-fire Biggins on his official Twitter account.

Friends of the panto star, Chappy tweeted…
