Tom Cruise's often ridiculed relationship with the church could be coming to an end, according to American tabloid magazine Star. Apparently, the Hollywood superstar is ready to give up on his pledge to stop ridding the world of thetans (immoral spirits), created by ancient alien dictator Xenu in order to spend more time with his daughter Suri. Scientology has gathered a good deal of infamy since Cruise helped it hit the headlines ten years ago. The cult has a reputation of being hard to leave, and a source close to Cruise claims that Hollywood's top gun will have to get a fine team of lawyers to help him extricate himself from the church.
