Holly Willoughby calls out Emma Bunton

Many were surprised to see Holly in attendance at the bout

Holly Willoughby decided to ‘call out’ former Spice Girl Emma Bunton during KSI’s boxing match on Saturday night.

The TV presenter was ringside at Wembley Arena to watch KSI knockout Faze Temperrr in the fourth Misfits Boxing event.

Many viewers were surprised that the This Morning presenter was one of the celebrities in attendance, but they were perhaps more stunned when she told the crowd she would like to “call out” her friend Emma Bunton for staying at home with her son.

When asked who she would like to “call out” during a ringside interview with Big Zuu for DAZN, Holly joked: “Do you know what? I know one of my very good friends, who is normally on stage in here – Spice Girl Emma Bunton – is watching this at home with her son Beau.

“So I’m calling her out! You, Emma Bunton.”

The response got a big reaction from those in attendance in the arena, and a number of viewers at home, who took to Twitter to voice their bemusement at what they had just watched.

One journalist tweeted: “At #KSITemper. Holly Willoughby has just called out Emma Bunton. Somehow in this arena, that’s completely normal.”

Another said they were “spent” after watching Holly call out the former Spice Girl.

A third wrote: “Holly Willoughby casually calling out emma bunton on a YouTube boxing event what’s happened to this world man”

And someone else tweeted: “Never thought I’d see the day that Holly Willoughby calls out Emma Bunton”

Holly wasn’t the only celebrity in attendance who you wouldn’t normally expect to see at a boxing match.

Louis Theroux was also in the arena to watch, and later tweeted that it was an “awesome night of gladiation.”

The headline event of the night, KSI vs Faze Temperrr didn’t last long in the end, with the Brit knocking out his opponent in the opening round.

Afterwards, he reiterated his desire to finally take on his arch rival Jake Paul.

He said: “I need to be tested. I need more tests until I reach the final hurdle, Jake motherf****** Paul.

“That’s the end-game ladies and gentlemen, I said I wanted him at the end of the year and I will get him, trust.”
