What Take-Two said about the GTA 6 release date

As fans grow anxious over the lack of a third gameplay trailer, Take-Two Interactive has doubled down on the GTA 6 release date, with chief executive Strauss Zelnick reaffirming that Grand Theft Auto VI is still on course to launch on 19 November 2026.

With every month that goes by without a third trailer, fans of the game are becoming increasingly desperate for another glimpse of Rockstar’s highly anticipated sequel.

Despite the silence, excitement surrounding GTA 6 has only continued to build following confirmation of its price.

Now, in a new letter to shareholders, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has addressed the anticipation by celebrating the company’s recent achievements and confirming that the game is still scheduled to launch on 19 November 2026.

It is a message the Take-Two boss has repeated consistently, and one that will reassure a fanbase that has waited almost 13 years since Grand Theft Auto V, through two delays and precious few sneak peeks.

The reassurance matters because the relative lack of marketing has led many to doubt the November window will hold, as Screen Rant noted.

For now, Zelnick's shareholder letter is the clearest signal yet that Rockstar intends to hit its date.

Now, all eyes are on Rockstar to see whether the long-awaited third trailer will arrive before release day or if fans will have to keep waiting.
