Glee star Matthew Morrison was embarrassed live on US television as an old VHS emerged of him throwing random shapes in a really bad instructional video.

The 36-year-old actor, better known for belting out musical numbers than his urban dance credentials, appeared on Jimmy Fallon's popular Tonight Show, and was well and truly stitched up by the mischievous host. Fallon surprised his guest by pulling out a copy of Bob Rizzo's Simply Funk, which features a fresh-faced Morrison doing his best Vanilla Ice impression to the beat of a bored looking man with a conga drum.
