Great British Bake Off has it's first every Italian week last night - and it definitely got people talking.

And while our mouths were definitely watering after seeing the margarita pizzas, Sicilian cannolis and the lobster-tail shaped pastries, it turns out we weren't the only ones who were distracted by a more unusual aspect of the Channel 4 baking show. The shade of judge Paul Hollywood's tan had everyone comparing him to Ross Gellar's spray tan in Friends, while others wanted to know if he was "glazing himself with a pastry brush". Even Noel Fielding couldn't resist chiming in with his own joke at Paul's complexion, suggesting the judge took one of the chocolate cannoli's with him for inspiration for his "next spray tan". https://twitter.com/_thequietplace/status/917834740144771072?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.her.ie%2Fentertainment%2Fgbbo-fans-stitches-spotting-big-fail-last-nights-episode-369121 https://twitter.com/SirMikeCharles/status/917830707510202368?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.her.ie%2Fentertainment%2Fgbbo-fans-stitches-spotting-big-fail-last-nights-episode-369121 The show's first Italian Week proved to be a hectic one for the bakers. The episode was filmed during a heatwave this summer, which ended up wreaking havoc in the tent. The bakers began to see their butter start melting, their pastry dough split and their fillings start to fall apart due to the high temperatures. Steven ended up becoming Star Baker for the third time in the series, while Yan failed to impress the judges - becoming the seventh baker to leave the competition.
