Season eight of the hit show will be its final instalment and will centre around the great war against the white walkers, because, as you may have heard, winter is coming. The upcoming season will feature the longest battle scene in television history. Basically, it's going to be epic. There is also the question of who will end up on the iron throne - the centre of the entire show since its birth - but as Jon Snow will tell you, the war against the dead takes precedent.
