First trailer for the new Mean Girls movie has been released

The new flick, which hits cinemas on January 12, is a musical take on the classic teen comedy.

Starring Angourie Rice, Auliʻi Cravalho and Reneé Rapp, the movie is set to be one of the most hotly anticipated films of 2024.

It also features the return of some of the original's key actors, including Tina Fey and Tim Meadows.
