Sherlock fans are among the most patient in the world, waiting years at a time between seasons which boast a mere three episodes.
There’s a reason those fans are so loyal despite nine episodes airing in its entire five-year run. And with a trailer for the Christmas special being released at Comic-Con, fans can finally begin to get excited.
The show’s tenth episode is a very special one. Set in Victorian times and due to air on Christmas day, it will be a stand-alone episode — with reports that we will probably have to wait until 2017 for the next set of three episodes.
Thankfully the Christmas special looks entertaining enough to keep us satisfied for now.
