Oh, my God! Okay, it’s happening! Everybody stay calm.
Marlon Wayans has confirmed that White Chicks 2 is officially happening.
Wayans revealed the news to Good Morning American at the 2025 NAACP Image Awards, where he and his family were introduced into the award show’s Hall of Fame.
“I think it’s time. Let’s get Scary Movie 6 done, and then we’ll go bring on the White Chicks 2,” he said.
Fans of the 2004 cult-classic, which earned over $100 million at the box office over 20 years ago, took to X to celebrate the news, with one branding it the ‘comeback’ of ‘real cinema’.
Another said: “Comedy gold incoming.”
The comedian, alongside his brother Shawn, reunited with Terry Crews last summer to recreate the iconic Thousand Miles singing scene from the film.
The boundary-pushing film follows two FBI agents who are forced to disguise themselves and go undercover as two spoiled and glamorous heiresses in their early 20’s in order to protect them from getting abducted by gangsters.
The characters of Tiffany and Brittany Wilson were based on Paris Hilton and her sister Nicky.
Previously speaking on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Wayans shared his ‘hopes’ for a sequel.
“I hope we do a White Chicks 2,” Marlon revealed. “I think it would be a great film.”
He added that he believed “the world needs White Chicks 2“, and we couldn’t agree more.
He also opened up about what it was like to get to know Paris and Nicky Hilton, and whether or not they would appear in the next movie.
“It was really cool meeting Nicky and Paris. I’ve known them for years. We actually used to party together,” Marlon said.
“Me and my brother used to actually watch them party and we’d be like ‘oh we should do them in a movie one day’. They were kind of the inspiration behind the characters we did in White Chicks.”
Well, watch this space!
