Love Island fans think Kem and Amber are engaged

As winners of Love Island 2017, there is absolutely no doubt that - even though they've only known each other for a couple of months - Kem and Amber are destined for a long and blissfully-happy marriage.

With that in mind, it should come as little surprise that rumours are already doing the round that the pair are already engaged. Eagle-eyed fans of the ITV2 show jumped to this conclusion after Amber uploaded a photo to her Instagram which appeared to show her wearing a ring on her engagement finger. Posing in a swimsuit, Amber conveniently forgot to mention that she'd agreed to spend the rest of her days with Kem, the accompanying caption reading: 'Trying on some cute new swimsuits for a little work trip I've got coming up! LOVEEEE this flowery number from my fave @motelrocks.'

But wait. Just before we get too excited, it's our duty to report that all might not be as it seems. For one, it appears strange that the couple would announce such joyous news on Instagram and not in a glossy magazine exclusive. Perhaps more significantly though is the fact that this photo appears to have been shot in a mirror. This means that the ring we see is actually on Amber's right hand, so not on her engagement finger. We don't doubt that their engagement is only a matter of time, but for now, we'll just have to wait.
