Eight women accuse Morgan Freeman of inappropriate behaviour and harassment

Eight women have accused Morgan Freeman of inappropriate behaviour and harassment.

The allegations against the actor were first reported by CNN on Thursday.

The publication report that they interviewed 16 people about the allegations against the actor. Some of them claimed Freeman harassed them, while others said that they witnessed inappropriate behaviour.

His spokesperson did not return CNN‘s request for comment.

One woman told the publication that she had been harassed by the 80-year-old actor in 2015 while she was working as a production assistant on the movie, Going in Style.

She claimed that Freeman touched her inappropriately several times and often made comments about her clothing and body.

The anonymous woman claimed that Freeman “kept trying to lift up my skirt and asking if I was wearing underwear.” He is alleged to have done this a number of times, until his co-star Alan Arkin said something.

The ex-assistant added:

“Morgan got freaked out and didn’t know what to say.”

Another woman, who was working at the 2012 movie Now You See Me, alleged that Freeman harassed her a number of times.

She told CNN:

“He did comment on our bodies.

“We knew that if he was coming by … not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms, meaning not wearing clothes that [were] fitted.”

Reporters who interviewed Freeman for press events claimed that they had also experienced similar behaviour.
