EastEnders character Denise Fox (Diane Parish) has faced her battles with leukemia, but a new speed bump ahead may rear an ugly face to the character ahead of next week’s episode.
Denise had been feeling extremely unwell, to which she headed to the hospital to begin treatment in her battle.
Upon completion of the treatment, the character found out that a friend she made on the ward had sadly passed away.
To top that off, Denise later found out that her treatment hadn’t yielded the results the doctors were hoping for.
This also all came down on the EastEnders character after finding out that Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) had accepted Jordan’s (Jahsaiah Williams) great-grandmother into her life.
Chelsea banned Denise from any further contact with her son, Jordan, driving her to plan a kidnapping ahead of stealing his passport.
Next week’s episode sees Denise undergoing even more drama and tragedy, as she is becoming more and more unwell to go ahead with her plan.
The episode is set to see Denise and her husband, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), discover that her chemotherapy is still not going in their favor.
It is also discovered that most of their family members are being ruled out as suitable donors for a stem cell transplant.
However, it looks like Kim’s upcoming discovery of Denise’s unknown half-brother, Darnell Larson Jr (Christopher Colquhoun), which could prove to be the character’s only hope.
Will Darnell be willing to donate to a stranger in a heart warming denouement?
