Early reactions to IT suggest that this will be one of the movies of the year

No film has been more hyped in 2017 than IT.

Not even Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk, whose mere name alone sends fanboys into waves of hysteria, couldn't match the hype around the new adaptation of IT. The stakes are high, too. Many people have very fond memories of the original movie adaptation of IT, starring the great Tim Curry as Pennywise. There have been so many shoddy remakes of classic horror films recently that one might expect IT to fall into the same category.
