Why Drake had a woman in an Aston Villa shirt as his Instagram profile picture

We regret to inform you that Drake is at it again

Canadian rapper Drake is a very talented musician and a very unusual man. While his music is extremely good (Nice For What remains the sound of every summer) he has some quirks.

He loves his sport, and is often photographed next to world famous footballers and athletes. Unfortunately it has now become something of a meme that if you’re a sportsman pictured with Drizzy then it is likely that you’re not going to win anything that season.

The main sport for Drake though is basketball and his team is his local NBA side the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors are currently playing it out with the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals, in a series that they lead 3-2 after three consecutive wins, leaving them on the brink of their first ever NBA Finals.

In the fourth game of that series in Toronto, Drake was doing his thing of essentially doing whatever the fuck he wants courtside. That entails walking around, cheering the players on, taunting opponents and even walking up behind and rubbing the shoulders of Nick Nurse.

Those antics weren’t appreciated by Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer, who criticised Drake’s carte blanche access at Raptors games.

In response to those antics, the daughter of Bucks owner Wes Edens, Mallory Edens, showed up to the fifth game in the series wearing a T-shirt featuring a photograph of Pusha T, a rapper who was famously involved in a bit of a feud with Drake quite recently.

In response Drake, being the normal man that he is, changed his Instagram profile picture to a photo of Eden, and in it she is seen wearing a retro Villa shirt.

The reason she’s wearing it is simple: her father owns the club, but it’s a weird sight nonetheless.
